Message from the Chapter Polemarch

Greetings Brothers:
On behalf of the members of the Huntsville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., I extend a very cordial welcome to you. We are delighted to have you visit our web page. Our primary purpose is to advance the growth and development of our beloved fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and award scholarships to deserving students.
The vision of our founder, Elder Watson Diggs, grows and continues to flourish in our chapter, “Achievement.” We continue to actively involve ourselves in the community with our Guide-Right Program. The Kappa League Program has over 100 young men participating and the Annual Guide-Right Kappa Football Cheerleader Camp has touched over 1,200 kids since 1998. We have an ongoing Thanksgiving/Christmas Gift Basket program that provides food to several local families and for over 20 years, we have wrapped gifts for the Madison County Crisis Services Helpline Initiative. Our Founder’s Day program, which is held annually in January, has grown to approximately 100 persons. Our annual Golf Tournament, which is held in August, has grown to more than 100 golfers. August 2008, Huntsville Alumni Chapter hosted a new venture, “Taste of Kappa”, which was held at the Huntsville Museum of Arts. This event drew over 300 supporters. The attendees enjoyed food and music, as well as other entertainment. Over 10 local vendors provided food and beverages.
The Huntsville Alumni Chapter is continuously growing, and it must continue to grow in the future. We invite all brothers in the Huntsville-Madison County area to be a part of the Huntsville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Kappa’s must live up to their motto: “Achievement in every form of human endeavor.”
Yours in the Bond,
KAPPA ALPHA PSI FRATERNITY, INC.
